“During my studies I already took a great interest in yachtbrokerage. I had the opportunity to perform a market research for an international yachtbrokerage as part of the study. After the presentation of the report I was offered a job to help establish a new sales marina in the southwest of Holland.
After working there for 7 years, I decided in 2002 together with Sjoerd Hanemaaijer to start a new firm: Jachtmakelaardij Kats BV. In 2011 Sjoerd left to work with his brother at Jachtwerf Oostwatering in Veere and I am the only shareholder now.
Whether it concerns the buying and selling of a yacht, or any other aspect of owning and sailing a yacht, I'd be happy to welcome you in Kats and talk about it.”
